Currently in the United States most residential buildings are using natural gas as fuel. But there are many others that use oil or solid fuels such as wood, pellets or biomass.
There are many different types of appliances, and efficiency is improving all the time. Most of the new gas appliances are condensing, and require certain types of exhaust flues to handle the condensation caused by the low temperatures of the flue gases. Others are higher temperature, higher pressure and less efficient.
Then there are the oil burners, solid fuel like wood or coal, and pellets and biomass. All of these appliances burn hotter and expel dirtier emissions, which causes a build-up of soot and can require periodic cleaning.
For all of these different types of exhausts, you would think you should use different types of flue materials. OR- you could use our Jeremias DWHT that will work for all of them. And strangely enough, be better than the others! How is that possible? Technology in venting has become as new age as the appliances, better designed and more efficient. For all of these applications, we offer single or double walled systems made of high quality corrosion resistant stainless steel.
