The high efficiency of the condensing boilers results from the fact that heat produced in the condensation process is used to increase heat supply. The exhaust gasses are cooler and hence the maximum condensing happens in the chimney. The condensate then flows along the internal wall of the pressure-tight pipe, and back to the boiler for disposal. The condensate is acidic and decomposes base metals. Therefore, a high quality stainless steel must be used for venting that is highly resistant to this condensate.
Since the exhaust gas from the condensing boilers is cooler, it has very little natural draft and requires some fan assisted pressure to exhaust properly. So the venting must also be airtight and suitable for positive pressure.
Jeremias USA offers the highest quality corrosion resistant stainless steel and pressure tight exhaust solutions for condensing boilers.
